Deanna/diva/Dee...

It all started when my mom tried to teach me the ABC's at age 2. Seeing that speaking the ABC's was unsuccessful, it was then that music came into my life. She decided to sing to me the ABC's, I was so drawn to hearing her sing, that after the first two times of hearing it, I was jumping on the desk, singing in full voice, my own version of the ABC's. My mom always said, you were singing before you could speak.

And 22 years later, I still can't shut my mouth. I am currently studying classical voice at York University, my ultimate dream is to sing at La Scala in Milan, the best operatic stage in the world. I want to sing with tenor Jose Cura and have a passionate love scene, I want to travel the world and sing in major opera houses in every operatic city. I have been preparing and have endured many successes and hardships along the way, only to make my passion for singing stronger and my drive nearly unbreakable. All right, that's enough dreaming, for now I reside in the little city of Woodbrige, I train almost everyday and my voice has somewhat took over my life, I am a performer and try to always gain experience wherever I can find it. Last summer I received a scholarship to study music in Siena, Italy, where I met the most awesome people and where I trained to become a better singer. I believe in many things, friends, food, a good glass of wine, family and relationships. I am a people pleaser and have been like this my whole life, I always see to it that I make other people happy before myself, I have gotten hurt along the way, but these experiences have only made me a better person. I am a taurus, strong, stubborn, selfish at times but for the most part, caring and sensitive to others. I hate the winter and this -38 weather in Canada is driving me mad, another reason to move to Europe!!

My wonderful friend brought me onto this website and seeing as though in two years I have visited this site maybe twice, I am turning over a new leaf and promise to update my profile a bit more often.
