About Me

I work with young people who have elected me annually by secret ballot in a rights, and responsibilities based, participatory democratic centre of learning which I co-founded 10 years ago. Co-Founders included young people, parents and teachers. I'm no longer young, but relate to youth, drawing on many varied life and work experiences. Along with fellow elected Staff, Students, parents and friends, I look forward to the day that the human rights of all people are respected, and legislated. For a long time we (that is, young people, parents and elected Staff) have battled with our State Government for our human and democratic rights. We will be taking this battle internationally. Sustainability (especiallly environmentally), voluntary simplicity, community and democratic values for all are very important to me.
