I am a member of a voluntary organisation based in North Somerset - we send ex-addicts to talk to young people about the dangers of using drugs and alcohol. We talk about what the consequences of addiction can be to individuals and those around them. We have been fully active for a couple of years and are looking to expand our service throughout Somerset. There is a small core group of people who run the group and a larger body of volunteers who go into schools etc and carry our message.
