Two years ago, I've founded a local chapter of the international student organisation for sustainable economics and management - called oikos Graz. Our goal is to integrate Sustainability at Higher Education Institutions, and to build up awareness among future decission makers (students), scientists and teachers of our university.
Since 2002 I've been involved in the organisation of several international conferences and processes of integration of SD in Higher Education.
I have finished my studies in Environmental System Sciences at the University of Graz, Austria. For the year of 2005, I have been elected as the president of oikos International. So I worked in St.Gallen, Switzerland for a year, managing the umbrella organization all oikos local groups, called oikos International. Today, I work as research assistant and PhD student at Graz University in the field of Sustainable Regional Development in Central and South-Eastern Europe. I love travelling to get new impressions and experiences of different cultures on our planet.
