Away from that, Chris sees the welfare of mankind as a challenge and social obligation.Thus, commits himself in serving humanity. Currently, Chris serves the Global Network for Good Governance (GNGG) Cameroon, as Youth Empowerment Officer. The objectives of this organisation covers human rights, democracy, good governance, anti-corruption and youth/women empowerment. Furthermore, Chris also volunteers with the Volunteers for Prison Inmates (VPI) Cameroon, as a Juvenile Affairs Coordinator.In this sector, the prisons in Cameroon which he describes as slums in paradise, are filled with a good number of young offenders (boys and girls). With the inhuman treatment they receive behind the bars ignited his spirit to stand up and say enough is enough; their rights need to be protected!! By so doing, he employs the writ of habeas corpus in his fight for and protection of Juveniles. Chris has done many certificate courses at home and abroad; Good Governance General Course, at the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria, The management of Human Rights Institutions, Economic, Social and Cultural Rights; Theory and Practice amongst others. He has membership & affiliation with many local and international organisations. He is the Cameroonian representative to the DESPLAY Africa Network (Democracy Series, Participation, Learning and Active Youthsin Africa), initiated by the Young Stars Development Foundation in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, in partnership with National Endowment for Democracy, NED USA. He has written a few articles on human rights, democracy, and anti-corruption (youth involvement and participation), the dangers of crime amongst youths and choice of life, Drugs and HIV/AIDS etc Chris is from one of the Royal Families in Cameroon (Fon Fotabong of Njoagwi - Fotabong III, Lebialem Division, South West Region, Republic of Cameroon)and this justifies why he is called - Prince Fotabong !! Chris is currently reading Law in the University of Yaouse II (SOA), Cameroon.
