About me
I am currently working as a manager in a primary school called Kiram academy. I am also involved in conservation through a Consortium of CBO called Molo River Basin CBOs Consortium whiche is a consortium of 54 Youth groups, self-help groups and CBOs where I am the secretary. Through this organisation we have established 25 tree nurseries, planted over 300,000 tree seedlings, established a management structure for a noxious tree called Prosopis including a workshop,4WD tractor, trailer and three eco-charcoal kilns in conjunction with Kenya Forest Research Institute and Kenya Wildlife Service, constructed two pan dams and one check dam, bought 2 hay balers, planted over 500 acres of pasture amongst many others. I am also secretary to The Friends of The Lembus Forest which is part of the endangered Mau Complex and we are pooling resources to restore parts of the forest which have been destroyed.
