About Me

Hey,

I'm a 19 year old student in Cranbrook, British Columbia going for an 8 week project in Tanzania this January. By then I will have raised $3700 plus my airfare to contribute to this program. In Tanzania I will be a peer educator informing people on HIV/AIDS and gender equality awareness and youth development.

Going to Africa has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. In my life I have been fortunate enough to do a great deal of travelling and this has sparked my interest in International Aid and Development. My trip to Tanzania will help me decide which area of Humanities I wish to specialize in and receive a degree. Also, this trip will help me gain International experience to aid me in reaching my goal of eventually securing a possition with the United Nations.

I really appreciate any and every donation made on this site and I will try to update frequently on fundraisers happening! I strongly belive that by helping people, even if it is only one person, we are helping to change the world.
