 About Me |
To let you know more about me, I would first say that I’m a very caring person. I enjoy helping people to solve their problems, but my friends would agree that I can be really mean when I get mad at someone. I am very honest. Some people live continuously in lies and construct their life around lies. I strongly believe that being honest must be a philosophy of life for everyone.
If I could give one advice to all of you I would suggest you follow your dreams and believe in your capacities. Don’t be shy by what you are or where you come from. People will love you for who you are, not for who you are pretending to be. We can’t be loved by everybody and its okay like that.
Then, I must say that I love taking care of my family. I consider my family as the most important part in my life. My parents have supported me a lot even though we might have different opinions and values in life. I will always be there for them just as they were there for me.
We are now over six billion humans sharing different opinions and ideas. As we all know, this causes a lot of political, religious and economical problems around the globe. I consider myself lucky to live in Canada where I have access to health care and education. A lot of people are living in miserable conditions because of war or other kinds of violence. For having a sister who was stuck in 2006 Lebanon’s war, I am now pretty concerned about all that violence going on around the world. People’s lives are being neglected for self-interest. Some political leaders, as we have in Lebanon, are acting irresponsibly. We are now in 2010 and I can’t believe that with all the technology, all the knowledge and all the past disasters we had, we can still think that violence is the only solution in a conflict. With all that, I still have hope for a better future. The first step for each one of us is to be more tolerant, benevolent and open-minded.
