My Passion
What's the deal with poverty? It's ridiculous. If extreme poverty still exists by the time our generation is all dead, it will be for one simple reason: we were too selfish to care. I won't be a selfish person and I won't live in a selfish country. We have been called to "speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute, speak up and judge fairly, defend the rights of the poor and needy." When the youth of our world all speak up together our voice will be SO LOUD! ... Who's with me?
What am i up to?
I'm at school studying - ergh. But that will not last forever! I'm hoping to study law and economics at uni and work for an NGO or the UN or get into politics, depending on what will be most helpful for our world when it comes time to decide...
I'm volunteering with The Oaktree Foundation and I do some stuff with World Vision as well. At school I'm Community Service Captain which allows me to oversee around one fifty charity events a year - totally fantastic!!
