About Me

COJESKI-RDC known as « Collectif des Organisations des Jeunes Solidaires du Congo-Kinshasa » is a platform of 340 young people’s organisations working on national scale in DRC and has branches abroad in different countries. It is operational in Democratic Republic of Congo since the year 1995. COJESKI-RDC has been labouring in MDG fields and is accepted as such in the big family of NGOs of the United Nations (UN) as being in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC), of NGOs of the African Union (AU) with consideration of its Status of Observer with the African Commission of Human and Peoples Rights. Hence, the Platform is in partnership with a number of NGOs related to the United Nations and to the African Union. Locally, COJESKI-RDC branches with NGOs sisters and works in direct partnership and in synergy with them.
COJESKI has 29 locals offices in the DRC(Bukavu,Uvira, Goma, Kindu, Kisangani, Mbujimayi, Kananga,Lubumbashi,
Matadi,Mbandaka,Isiro, Buta, Bunia, Isangi, Idiofa,Kikwit, Kolwezi,
Dilolo, Likasi, Kambove, Sakania, Kamina, Kalemie,Bumba, Gemena, Butembo, Beni, Bandundu et Gbadolité).

COJESKI-RDC has not yet reached the climax of its vision for the Congolese youth nor has the institution been satisfied with the outstanding state of things in some indispensable areas of life in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Deeply concerned with varying and multiples problems undergone by the youth of the country, the platform still looks for means necessary for good, successful achievement in a world where the Millennium Development Goals are not achieved as consistently and as proportionally as possible. COJESKI is representative of the Congolese youth in the Congolese Civil Society,is also membrer of the International Peace Bureau (www.ipb.org ),member of the World Civil Society Forum(www.worldcivilsociety.org), member of the Youth National Council and member of the National Network of Congolese Human Rights NGOs (RENADHOC).
