About Me

My name is Brian:-the first born from a family of 2 sisters and 4 brothers in Rukungiri District-South Western Uganda but now lives in Mbarara approximately 120 km from home. I had my primary education at St.Mary’s Zorooma Primary School (1992-98), Bishop Comboni College for O’levels(1999-2002, Valley College for A’ levels(2003-2004) before graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with Education of Mbarara University of Science and Technology(2005-2008). I have also participated in a number of national & international trainings spanning across fields of Emergency Medical Technician Instructors Course (Magen David Adome-Israel), Project Planning & Management (Bellevue Community College USA in Arusha Tanzania, Uganda Red Cross Society, and Danish Youth Council), and Adolescent Sexual & Reproductive Health (Reproductive Health Uganda & IPPF). Iam now studying for a Masters of Public Health.

I have had a great interest and love for YOUTHS WORK. As a young youth activist, I have participated in national and international youth platforms with UNAIDS in Ndola District-Zambia, Campus Alliance to Wipe out HIV/AIDS and Uganda Red Cross Youth. Iam also affiliated to a number of other youth organisations including World Youth Alliance, United Nations Youth, Global Youth Coalition Against HIV/AIDS, Youth Action For Change International because I believe that YOUTHS HAVE THE POWER TO MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Currently, Iam a Youth Leader volunteer with Uganda Red Cross Society where Iam responsible for, advocating, initiating, designing youth focussed projects in the fields of Health (HIV/AIDS) & Poverty in agreement with the MILLENIUM DEVELOPMENT GOALS. Iam proud to have been a delegate to Danish Youth Council and consequently implemented a Life Planning Skills Project in Uganda and Denmark jointly planned, monitored and evaluated by Uganda Red Cross and Danish Red Cross Youth!

Iam also an Ambassador to Uganda under the Millennium Candle Campaign www.millenniumcandle.org or facebook group MILLENNIUMCANDLECAMPAIGN-UGANDA

Iam interested in meeting with Youths(for the record, you are as old as how you feel) with a divergent view of the world, youths who feel and think they can do something more than what others have done! My biggest inspiration has always been my parents and family which brought me up TO BE THE BEST and this sometimes has made me sad because I have set myself high expectations and I haven’t achieved them!  This is why I have my personal motivator  SOCCER! ! We Call It "JOGA BONNITO" in Brazil Meaning "PLAY BEAUTFUL" heehee lol . Iam The First Born...Born & Raised To Be The Best :)This sport has from a tender age taught me that IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING WITH CONTROL! The more you play and practice with that soccer ball, the more tricks you can do, the better player you become!AND IAM AN ARSENAL FAN In England, SC VILLA In Uganda, BARCELONA In Spain, JUVENTUS (Italy) BAYERN MUNICH Germany ;) ♥
