About Me

My vision is to work for the most marginalized groups which also resonates with my deeper motivations in helping the community, by supporting the most deprived of its members. I hold a masters degree in Business Administration from Bahria University, Islamabad. I was in the top 5% of my cohort and was awarded Scholarship, and Honours ‘Magna Cum Laude’.

I worked at the United Nations from Sept 2003 to Sept 2004. My responsibilities included assisting the Project Managers in managing all project related activities – attending inter-ministerial and steering committee meetings, developing project proposals and presentations, progress reports, financial statements and budgets for the projects. I am currently working at World Population Foundation (WPF) where my Corporate Accountabilities include contributing towards improvement of quality management systems and internal control procedures of WPF by participating in key forums and undertaking projects/tasks.

I have received extensive training in EC’s Young Development Professionals Fellowship Programme (YDPFP-II 2004). I also received separate trainings on Monitoring and Evaluation of Projects, Participatory Situation Analysis (PSA), Training of Trainers, Conflict Resolution, and Advocacy for Reproductive Health and Rights. I have worked on a number of projects in the fields of SMEs & Entrepreneurship, Women Development, Poverty Alleviation, Education, and Management/Business Administration. I have an extensive experience of organizing different activities with organisations such as UNIDO, ADB, DFID, IFPRI, ILO, SDC, WFP, CIDA, UNDP, UNESCAP, UNESCO, and Government of Pakistan.

I was selected as Student Associate for Worldwide Professional Association of Population Scientists (IUSSP), France. I am a member of International Peace Bureau, Geneva, Switzerland. I also worked voluntarily for International Peace Research Association. I have conducted many professional research studies for WPF and can speak English, Urdu, Russian, Pushto, Punjabi, and Hindko.
