Born in the central (The Heart of South Africa) Free State Province, in Bloemfontein and educated in a Catholic School, ST Bernards, one of the many missionery schools in the country.
Was the national president and vice president of AIESEC in South Africa (2003 - 2005) mainly responsible for member skills development and organisational management. Coordinating projects across all affiliated Universities in South Africa. Served as the Chair for the African Network, converging and chairing the African Network Presidential meetings at AIESEC's International Conferences. Also, responsible for managing regional projects and partnerships.
Joined PriceWaterHouseCoopers within the Business Sustainability Group, primarily focusing on developing scrorecards to measure the progress for the implementation of the BBBEE (Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment) policy in 2005. Later joined the Systems and Process Assurance team rendering IT and security audits services to external clients within Mining, Technology & Telecommunications, Mining & Energy, Education & Health, Banking and Government sectors.
Currrently working for Absa bank, a newly acquired Barclays wing of the business as an IT auditor.
My passion for politics, national pride and peace within the African and other impovershed countries like Sri Lanka has led me to actively participate in the Global Save Darfur campaign.
