Completed secondary School In Lundazi in the year 1990.Proceeded to University of Zambia in 1992 and studied Public Adminstration as a major and Development studies as a minor. Graduated in 1996 with a degree in social Sciences. Currently pursuing an Executive Masters in Business Adminstration with ESAMI/ Maastrict. In January 1996 Started working for Economic Expansion In Outlying Areas Project under SIDA.Worked for 1 year 10 months as a rural development Facilitator in the area of sustainable development. In October 1997 joined CARE international as a Training Community Development Officer And worked for 2 years before joining Another CARE project as a Micro-Finance and personal empowerment officer . In 2001 march, joined the pioneers of Change movement -A network of youth working in the area of life affirming practices-currently hosts the Zambian Community of Pioneers of change. Has also served as a board member for the the CARE Cooperative Society,a society promoting savings from employees and advancing Cheap loans to people saving. Held the following positions under the board-Board Secretary-May 2001 to August 2002, Board Vice Secretary-August 2002 to date and Educational Committee Chairperson. Currently working as A Quality Assurance Specialist For the Technical Education Vocational and Entrepreneurship Authority-TEVETA in short. Also a member of the YES country network in Zambia. Took part in various national and international capacity buiding programs including: Rural development Facilitation in 1996 within Zambia learning for action Program in 2001 -Dhakhar-Bangladesh Leadership workshop in september 2001-Harare-Zimbabwe Micro-Credit workshops within Zambia Project Managent and proposal writting-Zambia Youth Employment Summit 2002-Egypt Planning and Financing for Small and Medium Enterprises-Arusha Tanzania Promotion of Small and Medium enterprises for the southern African Countries-Hiroshima Japan Currently has a major interest in the Area of Health and youth employment specifically the HiV/AIDS pandemic.
