About Me |
Born and lived most of my life in Leningrad-Saint-Petersburg, love my city very much. Graduated from grammar school 61 and entered St petersburg State University, faculty of geography and geoecology. There I studied at the department of regional diagnostics and political geography, or regional politics, my research area being crossborder cooperation in Europe. From November 2004 till November 2006 I was doing my European Voluntary Service (EU programme Youth, action 2, and later Future capital, action 3) in Tallinn, Estonia. Worked for the organisation called European Movement in Estonia, dealt with the project called Eatgate, aimed to support cooperation between EU and eastern neighbours (Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus). I was also involved in the work of Eurodesk, the official EU youth information tool, the Development Cooperation Roundtable and other projects.
Now returned back to Saint Petersburg, got a Master's degree, was dealing with foreign relations of the faculty in the university and developed various projects for young people. Apart from that, from 2003 I am an active member of the State Hermitage Museum Voluntary Service, helping to preserve cultural heritage.
