In my 55 years on this planet, I have lived in many countries (Britain, France, Netherlands, Germany, Canada, USA, Yemen, Iran) and worked in a wide variety of sectors (Museums, Railways, Polling, Satellites, High-tech,Telecoms).
Yet my main vocation has always been music. After many years in rock bands, I became a songwriter and created a one-man cabaret show where I portrayed a "Man From The Future".
This came about as a result of my observation that most of Humankind, faced with the overwhelming litany of terrible social and environmental challenges, was becoming increasingly cynical and desperate. I felt that a strong message of hope in the future couldn't hurt. Eventually this show became a novel that has been published recently, which I hope will further develop and propagate the message.

Durant les 55 ans que j'ai passé sur cette planète, j'ai vécu dans de nombreux pays (la Grande Bretagne, la France, les Pays-Bas, l'Allemagne, le Canada, les Etats-Unis, le Yémen, l'Iran) et j'ai travaillé dans un grand nombre de secteurs (les musées, les chemins de fer, les sondages, les satellites, la haute technologie, les télécoms).
Ma vocation principale a cependant été la musique. Après de nombreuses années dans des groupes rock, je suis devenu auteur/compositeur puis j'ai créé un one-man-show où je jouais le rôle d'un "Homme du Futur".
Cette idée m'est venue suite à mon constat que la majorité de l'Humanité, confrontée à la litanie accablante de terribles défis sociaux et environnementaux, était en train de succomber de façon croissante au cynisme et au désespoir. Je me suis dit qu'un puissant message d'espoir dans l'avenir ne pouvait certes pas faire de mal. A la longue, mon spectacle est devenu un roman récemment publié, qui je l'espère servira à propager le message plus avant.
