Ken is the Director of Youth Action Forum for Networking in Kenya, a non-profit organization focused on empowering young people through technology to learn about and take action on global social issues. Since Ken founded YAFNet in 2005, he has been responsible for developing programs and tools to help youths and students leverage the vibrant www.yafnetkenya.org community to support interactive and highly engaging e-learning experiences. Ken has played a key role in securing support from the PEACENET Trust, Minisry of Youth Affairs, the Tanzanian ministry of foreign affairs, the International Society for Technology and Education, Prior to joining YAFNet, Ken had experience as a Health Information Specialist and Medical Records Administrator at the Nairobi Hospital and Coptic Hope Centre for Infectious Diseases.
Ken has presented at education-related conferences around East African communities. He has spoken extensively at educational conferences, including the Kenya National Youth Policy Draft Conference, Internationally, he is aspiring to take after Hon. Kofi Annan
