 About Me |
I have worked in media in the North East of England since the late 1970s, as a freelance for BBC, with my own production company and as Executive Producer at Tyne Tees TV in the 1990s. My awards include Andrew Cross Awards for broadcast and corporate programmes in 1997 and 1999. I became Principal Lecturer in the School of Arts & Media in 2004 and am currently Programme Leader in Media Production. I teach TV Skills and supervise TV projects. My research interests are espionage and the media - my book "Like Father Like Son: A Dynasty of Spies" was published in 2005 - acting for the screen and religious broadcasting.
