Currently I am studying Science and Sociology at the University of British Columbia. After I complete the last two years of my undergrad, I want to continue on to medical school at UBC to become a naturopathic physician. My dream is to come back to the North and establish my own clinic, so that I can be involved with my patients for a lifetime. To have the expertise to deliver a baby into the world, and then to see them have children of their own, would bring the type of contentment that turns a mere career choice into an enthusiasm for life. I am also very interested in First Nations culture, Northern health, wellness and healthy lifestyles, HIV/AIDS and human sexuality.
