About Me |
I am a student of Psychology. I have won the 2006 Skipping Stones Annual Youth Honor Award for my essay ''Diversity and Tolerance: First Steps Towards a Brighter Future'', which has been reprinted in several leading publications. I have served Student Reviewer for Skipping Stones, a multicultural magazine based in the US. I have served as Staff member and ambassador of Youth for Change International (YFCI). I have been adjudged best participant in FOCUS online dialogues on Digital Media and Youth & Cross generational dialogue on Digital media organised by Global Kids (NYC) in 2007 and 2009. Currently, I am serving as Panorama Team Member in TIG's online volunteer program (as of 2011).
I am a good writer and have published several articles online and in print. Active participant in debates, declamation and quiz competitions at school and college. I was awarded special award for Outstanding Literary Achievement by my school Kundan Vidya Mandir (KVM). I secured A grade in All India Talent Search Examination conducted by Children's Education Trust, New Delhi, India in 2006 and was awarded a special certificate recognising me as ''exceptional child of his/her age group at national level''.
