About Me

I am a 20 year old girl who lives in Córdoba, Argentina. I've participated in non governmental organizations that deal with climate change issues and active citizenship since I was 15 (first in Ecoclubes, and now in the Water and Youth Movement, where I’ve been developing some environmental educational projects). I am also part of INFOPACI (Education for the Citizen Participation Institute). Since last year, I've been studying Local and Regional Development in the National University of Villa María (UNVM). The career offers me the tools to analyze local issues from social, environmental, political, cultural and economical dimensions, in order to identify the different potentialities a region has, and consequently make them dynamic, always with the goal of improving the quality of life of the population and organize more sustainable cities. It’s the only degree in Latin America with such characteristics. I had to move on my own to another city to study, and that made me grow up a lot and become very independent. If I had to describe my personality, I would say I am a hard working and responsible person. I try to achieve every idea I come up with, always respecting others and listening to them (I am a good listener). I am always eager to learn from my partners, in order to become every day a better person. Moreover, as my goal is improving the quality of life of my population, every conference/congress I attend, every project, every meeting, is to gather tools to benefit my society when the opportunity of showing off what I’ve learnt comes.
As for personal interests, I love learning new languagues. I speak Spanish as my native language, English (I’ve also been a helping teacher), Italian (This was my second year… it’s important to me because my whole family is from Italy and I have the Italian citizenship) and some Portuguese. But furthermore, I enjoy a lot being in intercultural spaces, full of people from all over the world, sharing different experiences and visions.
Further interests I have include beautiful tunes; laughing until it hurts; lovely smelling things; music that makes me dance; culture; natural medicine; earl grey tea; sunshine and freckles; vegetables.; talking to foreigners; stormy beaches; small villages; Africa; Jewish history; languages and accents; chocolate; foreign films; being 'Blinded by the Light'; sand and saltwater; avoiding monotony; reviving memories; taking off in airplanes.
