 About Me |
I have lived on this island (Grenada) for more than half of my life. I completed high school here then began university here on the island before travelling abroad to continue my bachelor's degree. Upon returning to Grenada, I resumed my studies by enter medical school then by enrolling in Masters in Public Helath earlier this summer.
I have always had a inkling that I needed to help improve health in some way, so I decided that these programmes would be the best ways to hone my skills as well as widen my exposure to the more realistic aspect of performing community assessment as well as service. I recently turned 21 and I promised myself to do more than dream. I have had previous experience in drug abuse research in the United States. My interests now rest in understanding social stigma as related to disease as well as the vital need to foster career building opportunities in the Caribbean, especially in Grenada in order to solidy a more firm research and development base.
My other interest include sports especially swimming. I aspire to be an honest, hardworking medical/research professional.
