About Me

Hi, I am Ana, I am 21 years old and I’m from Romania :)

Since I was 15 years old, I became a volunteer at the Youth for Youth Foundation– Y-PEER Romania and I have been doing peer education, being involved in in-school sessions (Family Life Education and Behavior Change Communication classes) and out-of-school activities.

Y-PEER is a network of more than 500 non-profit organizations and governmental institutions; its membership includes thousands of young people who work in the many areas surrounding adolescent sexual and reproductive health. Y-PEER, the Youth Peer Education Network, is a groundbreaking and comprehensive youth-to-youth initiative pioneered by UNFPA.

I am very interested and I enjoy sharing information and ideas with others, especially coming from different cultures, with different backgrounds. I like to get to know their life-style, their customs and their beliefs. And being part of Y-PEER network, I got many opportunities to do that ;)
