I want to change the world, but who doesn't? Well, some people, I guess. But everybody wants something. I guess I just believe that my ideals would make a more peaceful and sustainable world.
I'm big on the environment. I love Mother Earth. Sometimes I just can't believe how beautiful it all is, the trees and the sky and the air. And it breaks my heart that it is being destroyed.
I'm also really tired of all the lying and corruption going on in the government and the media. I got my degree in Telecommunications and I am definitely an advocate for free speech - I truly believe at that the Internet is the only hope for a free media at this point and we have to be willing to protect it.
I could go on, but you get the point, I'm not satisfied with the world that we live in and I don't think anybody should be. And it is our responsibility to do something about it. "Always leave things better than they were when you got there" - should be a universal law.
That said, I really love music, especially rock, and ESPECIALLY live rock. Um, I am learning to play guitar. So far I know half of Blackbird, the beginning of a Jack Johnson song, and A Horse with No Name. =) Oh, and I also do "vocals" when my boyfriend plays Rehab. It's fun, even though we kinda suck.
I like other things too, like my dog and painting and hiking. And my family and friends. And of course, my honey-pie. And laughing, most of all.
