About me
Allegra became interested in journalism primarily as a way to improve her writing, which working with top-notch writers at the Times Union newspaper in Albany, NY helped her to do. She published her first article at age nine, a feature about living with peanut allergies, which led to an appearance on an episode of “Nick News with Linda Ellerbee” called I’m Allergic to My World. Allegra most recently created a new health-focused publication that will be distributed to kids through New York 4-H offices, youth organizations and schools.
