 About Me |
My social conscience was sparked when I began high school and was suddenly surrounded by a very insular female private school population who neither cared about global or national events, and did not seem to care about the injustice that their positions and priviledges could alter. I am now completing year 12, recently I have been nominated for Lions Youth of the Year in 2003, was a UniSummit Australia ambassodor and attendee 2003, zone winner of the SunHerald Public Speaking Competition 2003, winner of the IGSSC prepared speech and public speaking divsions 2003, a school and zone representative at Young Leader's Day 2003, a nominee for the Walton Charity prize 2004, my states school youth representatives at the National Womenspeak conference in Canberra 2003, and am currently completing my ATCL in Speech and Drama, and Drama hoping to teach junior students how to act next year, as well as attending uni, hopefully doing medicine. Theatre was and is a big part of my life, I have recently discovered debating- which allows me to fire up and argue about the state of things, much to my delight. I hope you are all as passionate as I am and look forward to working with you all!
