About Me

“My purpose is to express my vision and commitment to sustainable forest management and passion to sustainable development by applying a holistic approach in management, providing assistance to finding the right solutions to our most pressing forest management and development challenges such as climate change and becoming an accomplished individual in the area of sustainable forest management. I share the passion of those who strive to make progress in meeting the Millennium Development Goals and I am committed to the alleviation of poverty in developing nations. My dream is to witness a world of equal opportunities especially for underrepresented people. I have been involved in research on the livelihood improvement process in communities in sub Saharan Africa as well as in the ESCAP region as well as shared experiences in some of the policy debates on current socio-economic challenges.
My Area of interest include but not limited to: Climate Change, Deforestation, Community-based approaches to natural resource management, sustainable livelihood improvement, Ecology and Biological Conservation, Protected Area Management, Natural Resource inventory, Wetlands Management and Restoration/Watershed Planning, Capacity Building for Natural Resource Management, Participatory Planning and Natural Resource Mapping, Monitoring and Evaluation of Natural Resources Projects, Stakeholder Participatory Process, Field Assessment to Innovative Economic and Financial Mechanisms for Conservation, Knowledge management for sustainable development”
