Akhter is now serving at Cross World Beverage Limited & IHT Bangladesh Ltd as Manager for Sales & Marketing Department. Cross World is one of the leading distribution firm for liquor business in Bangladesh. IHT Bangladesh Ltd is the sole distributor for International Herald Tribune in Bangladesh. Before joining in Cross World Group he was working at Scholastica Group, as Manager in Human Resources Department. 11 years back, in 1995 he started his career as a salesperson and worked more than 8 years in Sales and Customer Relations field for Insurance, Real Estate, Software firm, Credit Card, FMCG and Retail Sales based companies. In this long time he got the opportunity to meet hundreds of young people who tried to develop themselves in several ways.
He is the Past President of Rotaract Club of Shahabagh, Rotary International 3280, Bangladesh and presently seving as Interantional Service Director for the club. During his 9 years of serving experience in Rotaract club, he organized and perticipated numerous activities of Youth Development program.
Having different self-development and professional training, now he is an authorized trainer for Basic Sales Techniques, Basic Retail Store Management and other Customer Service related Issues.
He worked more than 3 years in different national leading print and electronic media like The Daily Bangler Bani, The Daily Prothom Alo, The Weekly 2000, BTV, Channel I etc.
He was invited as a guest speaker in several training institutions like SPEED, Continuing Education Centre (CEC), The Conjugates, Orbitals etc.
