About Me

I was born and raised in the Northwest Territories but have traveled to many parts of Canada and also abroad. When I was young, my father raised me to have a good knowledge of the land and how to survive on it. As I grew older, I developed an interest in both story telling and art. After graduating from high-school, my Mum convinced me to go south for art school in Calgary where I obtained my BFA at the Alberta College of Art and Design. I have since returned to the NWT to continue making and supporting the arts of all genres.
