About Me

hmmmmm........its really tough to tell about myself. I am still unknown to me and through every experience discovering a new 'me' every time. Have keen interest on the human development and human nature. Love to see smiles and really greedy to be a part of that smile. I believe Shades of emotions helps to grow as a wiser and better human in every single day.

Working as Research Associate in the Disaster Research Training and Management Centre, University of Dhaka. Working on a study on disaster Induced IDPs. Have professional experience in sectors like Climate change adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction, human trafficking, Child Protection (against abuse and exploitation) and Geographical Information System (GIS). Have experience working with relevant ministries, international donor agencies, international and Bangladeshi Climate change and DRR practitioners, disaster survivors, law enforcing agencies, law practitioners and change agents from the community. Also have worked as freelance consultant and volunteering here for Bengali/Bangla platform.

Attending Certificate of Advanced Studies in Disaster Risk Reduction (CDRR) in Switzerland. Has a Masters of Social Science (MSS) degree in Women & Gender Studies and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geography & Environment from University of Dhaka. Also did Certificate course on Ethnoscience and Sustainable Development.

Native language is Bengali, can also read and write Arabic and speak Hindi and Urdu fluently.
