À propos de moi

Life is hard to understand, more so the act of living is even harder to understand. What makes life worth living is utmost fulfillment: self (emotional, physical and mental) fulfillment, with all this you find yourself so content and locked up in an amazing bubble of happiness. But living in this bubble where all that matters to you is you, is completely selfish, selfish and inhuman. With that I can say I am a human rights activist. I believe in the social transformation of this world, I believe the same way globalization had been embraced willingly and forcibly, is the same way we should act upon human rights and their maintainance. At times we are so caught up in our lives that we fail to notice what is around us, from the beggar who sits everyday on the street you've walked on for the past 5 years, whose name you do not even know, to the millions of people starving within your reach. I joined takingitglobal for I know the youth in particular need to be aware and mobilize against the inhumane and inconceivable conditions in which people in this world are living in. When it comes to talking about me all I can say is that I am social democrat who believes in creating and providing equal access/opportunity to resources within this world. I am a woman and pertain for the rights of women. On abortion, I am pro-life yet pro-choice. I believe in love and acknowledge the presence of hate. I have two siblings and a mother whom I love, adore and would die for. I believe in the human race, as disillusioned as that may seem, I believe that we can live in peace. Lastly I am a capitalist, more of a socio-capitalist, I believe capitalism can and should exist in a society where individuals at the least enjoy their basic needs, this being food, clean water, comfortable shelter, clothing and education. I am a human rights activist and a communications strategist by profession and that's all I can say about myself. I am pleased to meet you all in advance!
