About Me

I'm doing a master in economics at the University of Amsterdam. Within my specialisation area in macro economics and international economic relations, subjects like RICE/DICE growth models, the Ramsey/Cass and Koopman growth theories and the Human Development filosophies of Amartya Sen and the UNDP interest me.

At the moment I'm active in the bard of the Dutch Christian Youth Labour Union. At the moment we are roganising several local, national and international projects. This summer we will go to Senegal and exchange ideas of involving youth in labour issues. Also we are strengthening out ties with East Europe. For the coming four years we try to establish a strong network between Youth Labour Unions in the East and th West.

Right now I'm doing my internship at the Dutch ministry of Economic Affairs, where I do research on the Unit Labour Costs as an indicator for international competitiveness. For some an interesting topic, but probably for most of you of less interest ;)
