As an Associate Professor of the School of Public Health, University of São Paulo; as a Psychologist of the Court of Justice of the State of São Paulo; as a former Director of the Brazilian Health Education Department, as a journalist and editor of the inter-universitary journal “Academus” (BLISSN 0001-4230), I have assumed responsibilities for research and teaching programmes and integrated public policies at national and international levels, encompassing education, culture, ethics, citizenship, environment, health, and overall quality of life. I am affiliated with The International Academy of Science; The World Council for Curriculum and Instruction; The International Union for Health Promotion and Education; The Inter-American Consortium of Universities in Health Promotion and Health Education, The Centre for Research, Documentation and Development on Healthy Cities, Communities and Settings. My teaching and research proposal is a creative model for thought and practice, in view of new paradigms of growth, power, wealth, work and freedom, providing many opportunities for holistic projects integrating different scientific domains and extensive applications in culture, education, environment, health and overall quality of life.
