About Me

I'm doing voluteerwork in the Netherlands and in Belgium, teaching teens in school about HIV/AIDS and why it is important to delay sexual activity during their teens. I admire the people who joined TakingItGlobal for all their hard work and love for the human family.

Doing the work I do I was thinking: "What can I do to help beyond the borders of my country?"

Last year I attended a Free Teens trainingworkshop in the USA and filmed the entire workshop (not perfect quality, but good enough).

I'm now making short films of that workshop and I'm putting them on youtube. The language is of course English, and the films are subtitled in Dutch, cause I'm using them in the Netherlands and Belgium during conferences and in schools.
It's a great tool.

I'm an excellent public speaker, but somehow young people (and many adults as well) respond very well and many times better to multimedia.
I hope that many people around the world can use these short films in their outreach to make youth and adults aware of the risks of HIV/AIDS, other std's and uncommitted sexual relationships.
