About Me |
A long time ago, the human being, rather his predecessor was just an ordinary animal. Since then, humans have known an extraordinary development, which has permitted this race to distinguish from other species.
Then, by looking in the short past of humanity’s society, it’s obvious that the world has changed a lot, mainly in terms of the entertainment value. Isn’t the life of today more entertaining than it was two or three centuries ago? Surely, there were traditional and cultural entertainments like music, arts, theater, sports and many others. So, which part of today’s society makes it better than before? This question could be easily answered simply by looking around. IPods’, computers, televisions, radios, speakers and headphones are just a few of the technologies in this world. The world of today is based on technology because it makes life easier. Isn’t an online dictionary funnier and easier to consult than a brick of paper? Actually, it’s hard to complain about it, because technology brings simplicity and happiness.
Unfortunately, the happiness of one is the misfortune of others. Indeed, poor countries don’t have technologies for amusement; either they have technologies for basic needs. Today, money is needed to have technology, which comes with knowledge. Disastrously, pleasure and satisfaction are now synonyms of capitalism, which is easy to understand just by comparing the Occident and the Orient GDP’s (Gross Domestic Products).
In conclusion, technology is far from being a bad thing because it ensures the development of the human race. The world of today is simply a bunch of injustices and not evenly distributed riches. Everything would be better if the distribution of knowledge, technology and wealth was to be equal from one country to another.
