About Me

I am a girl of 22 year old and a Gambia Nationality. I sat to the west African Senior Secondary School leaving certificate in the year 2006/2007 academic year. I have been an activist during my carer which I continued with after finishing my educational carere. I served as the first youth activist at the office of Society for Women and AIDS in Africa Gambia Capter. I am currently working as the Assisatant Coordinator Programmes for the Network of Gambia Positive Women (Mutapola Voices The Gambia). In May 2008, I represented the organisation on a training on 'Imagining and Re-Building African Movements in Freetown, Serra Leone.from the 1st-3rd August 2009, I represented the organisation on an Advocacy Training held in Kampala, Uganda. I am currently mobilising the AIDS Orphans and Vulnerable Children to form a Network of Orphans and Vulnerable Children.
