 About Me |
My name is Akapo Emmanuel, a music professional and consultant by profession. I work as a music director and instructor with Pencils Film & Television Institute-PEFTI(Subsidiary of Wale Adenuga Productions). I have done several projects which have to do with the use of Music and others arts to address youth related issues and the ones in the MDGs. I also run the second largest music institution in Lagos,after MUSON, known as Tenstrings Musicians Institute, with campuses in FESTAC and Surulere. I was member panel of judges, World Music Festival Norway 2005. My specialties are in Songwriting, Music Directing, Professional Piano and Guitar, and music education. I currently preside over a band called Eclipse. We do majorly Soul and African Rhythms. In summary, I have a 15year consistent professional experience in music making & the entertainment industry.
I am also into music production and artists' development , and church choir grooming services.
