I don't remember this, but my mother tells me about it all the time. As a child, I loved to approach strangers in the supermarket and compliment them. I would usually pick out an old man or an old lady to compliment. I'd hold their hand and smile at them. I can't remember the details of these moments, but when my mother reminds me of it, the feelings come back. I just want people to feel loved. I think it's engrained in my being. I think that there is beauty to be found in the most unlikely places. Don't you?
I'm about to finish up my art major in Undergrad School. My plan is to take a "break" from everything and join up with AmeriCorps. I'm 22 and ready to take everything on (admittedly with some naivity).
